A downloadable project for Windows and Linux
is a stand alone demo aka screensaver written in pure 32-bit Intel Assembly Language. In the early PC years there was the Demoscene where programs were made at the lowest level and delivered in the smallest of file sizes. These demos were meticulously made to show the true capability of PCs. In practicality, writing programs in Assembly is tedious to the productive higher level languages and tools available. Plasma was rewritten more than once. It is over-engineered. It is in a release state but there is more work that I intend to follow through on it.
Requirements: Any 32-bit Windows version or Wine install (under any Linux) on a computer with at least 800mhz-1ghz at a low resolution will produce a decent framerate.
